Special guest PAOC Maritime District Superintendent Rev. Kevin Johnson shared a message with the congregation about the necessity of having a divine encounter with the Holy Spirit. He recalls Exodus 2-4, where the Holy Spirit worked in the life and leadership of Moses.
Here are his four points:
- When we try to do God's work without an encounter with the Spirit, we will fail.
- When we encounter the Spirit we lose awareness of our weakness.
- An encounter with the Spirit will change your heart.
- An encounter with the Spirit gives us the strength to persevere.
